Scott Stevens promoted as High Voltage Electrical Sub-Head in Energy & Water Services

Scott Stevens is the successful candidate for the position of Sub-Head Electrician in the Supervisory Organization of Electrical Trades with Energy & Water Services at the Campus Energy Center location.

Scott began his career at UBC in 2017 when he joined the High Voltage (HV) Electrical team. Scott has quickly proved to be a leader and has stepped up in the temporary sub-head role numerous times, learning our complex electrical grid. He excelled in this temporary role, and continued to help guide his coworkers to better understand the working of the HV network and assets. Scott is also very safety conscious and joined our Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee as a worker representative.

Scott graduated from BCIT in 2015 after completing Levels 1 through 4 Electrical Construction Apprenticeship training and gaining his Red Seal. He then spent two more years working in Construction for Bridge Electric, PCL & JV Driver.

We are very excited to have Scott join our Energy & Water Services Trades Supervisory team, and begin his role as Sub-Head starts on August 3, 2021.
