Joint Health & Safety Committee transitions to pilot in Building Operations, Energy & Water, and Student Housing & Hospitality Services
At UBC, we’re transforming what it means to produce, distribute and consume energy and water at a community scale.
UBC is investing in energy and water retrofits and infrastructure upgrades to improve the efficiency and condition of our aging energy and water systems.
Many large-scale, multi-year energy and water projects are close to completion at UBC, but that’s only the first half of our story.
Our aim at UBC is to generate enough energy conservation to offset the current growth.
UBC’s Energy and Water Services (EWS) delivers energy and water services exclusively to customers within our campus community.
30% reduction in GHG’s
